Tpm Sponsored Athletes Woolgoolga

Woolgoolga High School Sports Academy 2026 Sponsored Athletes

At The Physio Movement Woolgoolga, we believe strong communities are built by supporting young people to pursue their passions.

Across the Northern Beaches and the wider Coffs and Clarence Coasts, we see an incredible amount of young sporting talent emerging. Many of these athletes are balancing school, training, competition and travel, often without the professional support systems available to elite pathways.

That’s why we created the TPM Sponsored Athlete Program.

The program supports promising athletes from the Woolgoolga High School Sporting Academy, helping them stay healthy, build strength and continue progressing in their sport.

More importantly, it’s about helping young people develop confidence, resilience and lifelong healthy habits.

For 2026, we’re excited to introduce three incredible local athletes joining the program.

Meet the 2026 Woolgoolga High TPM Sponsored Athletes

Havana Tpm Sponsored Athlete

Havana Van Hamond~ Gold Sponsored Athlete

Havana is an incredibly driven young athlete who continues to make a strong impact across multiple sports in our region. Her commitment, leadership and work ethic make her a fantastic role model for other young athletes coming through the community.

Last season was a standout year for Havana. She was recognised with multiple awards across her sports, including Highest Point Scorer in junior rugby league, International Player of the Year, Players’ Player for both League Tag and Rugby League, and the Coaches Award. Her contribution to sport also extends beyond the field, being recognised as Volunteer of the Year at Woolgoolga Touch Football.

Havana’s talent has also been recognised at representative level, earning selection in representative rugby league and touch football teams, as well as qualifying to State level for school rugby union. She also reached Level 3 in athletics, continuing to push herself to improve and compete at higher levels.

In addition to her own achievements, Havana is already giving back to the next generation of athletes. She currently coaches the Woolgoolga Touch Football Girls Under 12 representative team, demonstrating the leadership and community spirit that we value strongly at TPM.

For the 2026 season, Havana has made the decision to narrow her focus and commit fully to rugby league and touch football, while continuing to build her strength, fitness and performance with the goal of progressing further in both sports.

At TPM, we are proud to support athletes like Havana who not only perform at a high level, but who also represent the values of hard work, resilience, leadership and community.

We’re excited to be part of Havana’s journey as she continues to grow and chase her goals.

Cody - Tpm Athlete

Cody is passionate about continuing to grow as an athlete and is focused on gaining as much experience as possible through different competitions and development opportunities. His goal is to keep progressing through the representative pathway and continue moving up through the tiers of the system as he develops his skills, strength and game awareness.

At TPM, we are proud to support athletes like Cody who are committed to learning, improving and making the most of every opportunity in sport. We’re excited to be part of his journey and look forward to seeing what the future holds as he continues to develop and challenge himself at higher levels of competition.

Asha - Tpm Sponsored Athlete on Bike

Asha Craig ~ Silver Sponsored Athlete

Asha Craig is a dedicated and talented young athlete who continues to achieve impressive results across multiple sports. Her commitment to training, resilience and willingness to challenge herself have seen her perform at a high level both locally and at state competitions.

Asha has competed at the State Netball Titles and has also qualified for State Athletics, alongside representing the region at North Coast Cross Country and Athletics. Her speed on the track continues to improve, recently recording an impressive 13.50 second personal best in the 100m sprint. She has also competed at State Cross Country, demonstrating her versatility and endurance as an athlete.

Beyond her results, Asha is known as a leader within the Star Athletics program, encouraging and supporting other young athletes while continuing to push her own performance.

Asha credits much of her development to the support around her, particularly the training and guidance she receives through TPM. Working with Dael and Luke has played an important role in her progression, helping her build strength, confidence and the physical foundation needed to compete at higher levels.

“I love the work that I do with TPM and the support this sponsorship provides me as an athlete. Working with Dael and Luke has been so important for my growth.”

At TPM, we are proud to support athletes like Asha who show not only talent, but also leadership, determination and a genuine passion for improving both on and off the field. We’re excited to continue supporting her journey as she strives for even greater achievements in the years ahead.

Strength testing for young Athletes

One of the key components of the TPM Sponsored Athlete Program is modern strength and movement testing.

Using evidence-based assessment methods commonly used in elite sport, our team evaluates an athlete’s:

• Strength
• Power
• Balance
• Movement patterns
• Injury risk factors

These assessments allow our physiotherapists and exercise professionals to better understand how an athlete moves and where improvements can be made.

This type of testing helps young athletes:

• Reduce injury risk
• Improve strength safely
• Track physical development
• Build strong foundations for long-term sport participation

For growing athletes, this guidance can make a huge difference in helping them train smarter and stay on the field longer.

Why supporting local athletes matters

At TPM, we’ve always believed healthcare should extend beyond treating injuries.

Supporting young athletes early helps them develop:

• confidence
• resilience
• strong bodies
• healthy movement habits

By working alongside schools, clubs and families, we hope to create an environment where young people feel supported as they pursue their goals.

The Woolgoolga High School Sporting Academy continues to produce outstanding young talent, and we are proud to play a small role in supporting these athletes as they develop.

Supporting youth sport on the Coffs Coast

Programs like the TPM Sponsored Athlete initiative are part of our broader mission to support the health and wellbeing of the Woolgoolga and Coffs Coast community.

The future of sport in our region is incredibly bright, and we are excited to see where the journeys of these athletes take them.

Our entire team will be cheering them on.
